One of our staff members, Laura Wells, has been working hard on supporting our children and young people with communication and accessibility to our building and to the curriculum.

Laura has spent a lot of time and effort creating a range of new signs and symbols for use in classrooms and around the academy building. Bradford Local Authority are so impressed by Laura’s hard work that they are asking if they can use Co-op Academy Southfield’s example for signage, symbols and touch cues as a means of standardising these across all of Bradford’s special schools.
