The Learning to Be, Learning to Do Curriculum is for students who are not engaged in subject specific teaching. It is a holistic curriculum which enables students to develop skills and concepts over time through a personalised learning pathway. These students have Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and/or complex medical needs and additional sensory impairments. The profile of a learner’s disability varies significantly in breadth and depth of impairment when compared to other students. The curriculum is delivered through a range of learning opportunities, specifically selected to enable the individual to make progress and takes account of each students’ unique learning profile.
